ZTE nubia Z17 Release date confirmed: 8GB RAM, 23MP rear cam
The new ZTE Nubia Z17 release date is coming close. This flagship comes in two versions, a standard version, and a more powerful version. Let’s look at the specs to see how good the “plus” version is.
ZTE Nubia Z17 specs: 8GB RAM
First off, even the standard version of the ZTE Nubia Z17 is already a technological powerhouse. The display sports 5.5-inch screen full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution. It even comes with multitouch. The Qualcomm SnapDragon 835 chipset is the core processing unit. Regarding memory, the standard model features a 6GB RAM with either 64 or 128 GB ROM. The upgrade version comes with 8GB RAM while everything else remains the same, the two internal memory option included.
Performance-wise, the upgrade version seems a little bit of an overkill. 4GB is usually enough to run a phone smoothly. But double that amount and you arrive at the RAM of a conventional gaming laptop. And that is not even the end of the goodness. The design of the device is no less impressive than the specs. Following the trend, the Nubia Z17 went bezel-free on the sides for 74.7% screen to body ratio. This phone can even be a worthy rival to Samsung’s next big thing.
For anyone out there that loves smartphone photography, the camera is pretty awesome as well. The ZTE Nubia Z17 camera is a dual 12MP + 23MP. So with the large, almost bezel-free full HD screen, it’s going to feel really good taking picture with this phone. The device is powered by Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS and a non-removable 3200 mAh battery cell.
The new ZTE Nubia Z17 release date: right when pre-order ends.
The standard version is already available for $479 (Rs. 30,710) while the upgrade version can be pre-order for $599 (Rs. 38,400). Right now the ZTE Nubia is only available in China. Information about an international release may emerge in Q4 this year.
