ZTE Nubia X unveiled: 8GB RAM, two displays and two fingerprint readers!

As far as it concerns, ZTE Nubia X is finally here as the dual screen flagship went official earlier today. On the other side, the best feature is the primary display achieving 93.6% screen-to-body ratio on the LCD panel, alongside a secondary OLED rear screen. In details, the primary display has an FHD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution with a 6.26-inch diagonal. Whereas, the secondary one stretches to 5.1″ with lower HD+ (720 x 1520) resolution.

On the other side, both the displays come with a 19:9 aspect ratio. As expected, the latter can be used as additional controls during gaming and can be mapped to their liking. Under the hood, the ZTE Nubia X specs include a Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, the storage can go up to 256GB and 64GB, but no microSD card expansion is supported.

Whereas, the Nubia X supports no front-facing camera since users now can easily snap selfies with the dual setup on the back using the secondary screen. On the other side, the ZTE Nubia X camera stills the 16MP main lens with f/1.8 aperture. Meanwhile, the 24MP unit boasts a brighter f/1.7 lens with AI scene recognition feature and PDAF. Moreover, the Nubia X comes with a 3,800 mAh battery. Furthermore, the handset runs Android 8.1 Oreo with UI 6.0.2 on top. More interestingly, the phone equips two fingerprint readers positioned on the two sides.

ZTE Nubia X release date and price

As we learned, the Nubia X is offered in Deep Gray, Black Gold and Sea Light Blue. Moreover, ZTE Nubia X price for the standard 6GB/64GB version costs CNY 3,299 ($473). On the other hand, the 8GB/128GB configuration asks CNY 3,699 ($530). Moreover, the most beefed-up variants with 8GB/256GB of the memory of the Deep Gray and the Black Gold colours is CNY 4,199 ($602). Also, the Sea Light Blue colour adds CNY 100 to those. Besides, the sales start on November 5.
