ZTE seems to be on a roll lately. After revealing its top-of-the-line Nubia Z17, and recently the budget Nubia M2 Play, now the company continues to unveil a new phone from the Axon line, the ZTE Axon 7s, with 6GB RAM, 3400mAh, dual 20MP!
ZTE Axon 7s phone is finally released: 6GB RAM, 3400mAh, Dual 20MP…
In May last year, ZTE unveiled the Axon 7 to the world. The flagship back then made waves to the whole industry with its incredible design and its amazing specs. Continuing on the success, the Chinese manufacturer introduced the Axon 7 Mini next, and back in April this year, the ZTE Axon 7s got announced as well. This new ZTE flagship is an upgraded version from last year’s Axon 7, with a cleaner design due to the removal of the front speaker grill from last year’s model.
As mentioned, ZTE Axon 7s specs are better than last year’s Axon 7. Under the hood, there is the Qualcomm SND 821 chipset to power up the phone, compared to the SND 820 of Axon 7. Axon 7 only has 4GB RAM, while Axon 7s has the upgraded 6GB RAM. From 64GB of the predecessor, Axon 7s now has larger storage of 128GB ROM, which can also be expanded by a microSD card. Its battery also has a slight upgrade, from 3250mAh of Axon 7 to 3400mAh to serve as the power source of the phone. The battery also supports Quick Charge 3.0 via USB-C port.
However, there is one aspect that both ZTE Axon 7s and Axon 7 have in common. Both of them feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. For Axon 7s, the phone also supports Google Daydream. As for the ZTE Axon 7s camera, it features a dual setup of one 20MP Sony IMX350 first lens and another 12MP Sony IMX368 sensor. There is also an 8MP front shooter for taking selfies. The phone has Android 7.0 Nougat with MiFavor UI 4.0 skin.
