YouTube Music supports SD card
As mentioned above, Google is pushing YouTube Music as a successor to Google Play Music, with plans to merge the two at some point. As expected, YouTube Music would actually replace Google Play Music. Based on a report from Engadget, Google has a lot more features to add to the platform to make the switch more enticing. In details, the options include SD card support, new album sort options, quality selection, and so much more.
According to our source, YouTube Music would be separated totally from Youtube Viewing. Besides, all of these mentioned features should have been launched with the platform. On the other side, the platform finally works as a proper music player. Meanwhile, the quality options are suitable for those with limited storage, data plans or SD cards too. SD card support is already starting to roll out, while quality options will be available soon.
Whereas, sorting your albums is more than “recently added.” Furthermore, Google has been putting YouTube Music on the back-burner with Google Clock gaining support for Spotify. Also, this will be the company’s first music streaming services. On the other side, there are some regular YouTube improvements as well. In details, users were automatically subscribed to an artist when they followed an artist from YouTube Music. In the future, there would be the addition of a drop down to filter out followed artists. Also, integrating the two services is the way to go through, but with manual actions.
