YouTube expands live-streaming for phone’s camera app!

As we may know, YouTube is an American video-sharing website. In addition, this website now operates as one of Google’s subsidiaries. It allows users to upload, view, rate, share, add to favourite, report, comment on videos, and subscribe to other users. Now, Google improves YouTube’s live-streaming features after having announced auto-captions and new chat features last month.

According to our sources, YouTube has announced that users might soon be able to live stream directly from their phone’s camera app. In details, YouTube unveiled that they are working with Asus, LG, Motorola, Nokia, and Samsung. “Our goal is to bring this feature to even more device manufacturers throughout the year through the new YouTube Live deep link”. On March 20^th, 2018 YouTube launched web browser live-streaming. In details, this is a tool that allows users to go live without the complexity of using an encoder. The new feature comes with an announcement that native camera apps inside phones will also soon have a shortcut for YouTube live. Now, uers can click on the camera icon on the top toolbar and select the live option, or navigate to youtube.com/webcam. In addition, with this new feature, Youtubers can add a title and privacy settings, shoot a thumbnail, and start the live stream.
