While we’re waiting patiently here for the Xiaomi Mi 8 launch event, a news article appeared earlier today suggests that the company may have more to unveil; apart from their main flagship. So far we can expect to see the Mi 8 model, its little brother Xiaomi Mi 8 SE and the most anticipated Xiaomi Mi Band 3 of course. However, the company may surprise us once again by making a new Xiaomi VR Headset debut as well – a new addition to its recent AR/VR accessories range.
Xiaomi’s Weibo account also posted a poster pic to back our theory up. After that, CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Yun himself recently retweeted that post, indirectly claiming that the new VR product is coming soon. Unfortunately, the picture is the only info that we have on this headset. In the meantime, let’s check out the details of the Xiaomi Mi 8. For starter, Xiaomi Mi 8 specs offer a large 6.2-inch IPS LCD touchscreen (1080 x 2280 pixels) and a tall 19:9 ratio.

Also, this phone sports a single 16MP front-facing shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. Lastly, the Mi 8 battery rocks a non-removable Li-Po 3300mAh juice box with fast charging support and has a price tag of $550 ~ Rs. 38,000.
