In case you didn’t know, Redmi used to be Xiaomi’s entry-level sub-brand. Now, the Chinese company is planning to unveil the first high-end handset under the series dubbed Redmi Pro 2. Today, an image of this phone appeared on Weibo post, giving us the phone’s design and some key specs. As for the screen, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 can feature an almost bezel-less display. We expect the Redmi Pro 2 to flaunt a 6.3-inch IPS LCD with full HD+ resolution. Furthermore, there are thin bezels on the side and the top.
Additionally, the image also unveils the hardware department. The Redmi Pro 2 is going to get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform. In terms of the storage, this phone sports 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB ROM which can be expandable up to 256GB. Besides, for security, this phone equips an in-display fingerprint scanner. On its back, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 rocks a triple camera setup.
In details, the primary lens on the Redmi Pro 2 could be a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. There is also another 16MP sensor and a TOF one at least. As for taking selfies and video calling, this phone can pack a 16MP lens. Keeping the light on is a decent 4000mAh juice box that supports Quick Charge.
