Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro unveiled

As mentioned above, the Redmi Note 6 Pro has been officially unveiled in the Thai forum at Mi.com. However, it still does not feel like a proper launch since there was no mention of the phone outside of the forums yet. On the other side, it was advertised as Xiaomi’s first phone with 4 AI cameras. Apart from being the company’s first phone with two dual cameras, the device seems to go with “AI dynamic bokeh” and “AI portrait 2.0”.

In details, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro camera includes a 12MP main module plus a 5MP depth sensor, which is the same to Redmi Note 5 Pro. However, there arrives larger pixels (1.4µm vs. 1.25µm), brighter aperture (f/1.9 vs. f/2.2) and Dual Pixel AF. Whereas, the selfie snapper is different with a 20MP main sensor (4-in-1 pixel binning) and a 2MP depth sensor. Besides, the screen promises 500 nits of brightness and 2.5D Gorilla Glass.

Moreover, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specs include a 6.26” IPS LCD with a notch. On the other side, Xiaomi boasts that the Redmi Note 6 Pro has 86% screen-to-body ratio and 1080 x 2280 pixels resolutions. Under the hood, the Xiaomi phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. Whereas, the onboard memory provides with a 4GB+64GB option. Besides, the 4,000mAh battery is the same as before promising 6 hours of gaming or 8.5 hours of video playback, alongside Android Oreo.
