This Chinese edition of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 went on sale earlier today and was out of stock in just a few minutes. Something like this is considered not to be that typical, as the first batches are usually in limited quantities. Plus there is a massive number of people waiting to buy it online.
Generally, Chinese Redmi Note 5 has a design and features almost utterly identical to the Redmi Note 5 Pro launched in India previously. In details, the handset comes with several AI-focused settings that claim to enhance Bokeh mode, beautification, and offers face unlock features. Chinese Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 camera packs an upgraded AI-driven imaging experience with a 13MP selfie cam and a more prominent 12MP sensor. The new model also runs on Android Oreo system with MIUI 9 and Snapdragon 636 chipset.
