It looks like the Chinese brand’s next focus will be the long-awaited Redmi Note 9 series. Recently, they just announced the launch of two Redmi Note 9 handsets: the standard Redmi Note 9 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in March. On another hand, another handset dubbed Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S; which is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro for specific markets; should also arrive soon. Now, based on the latest report, they are working on the mid-range Redmi 9 device.
Furthermore, the new Redmi 9 smartphone’s pictures and specs have been surfacing on various internet pages lately. By that, this Xiaomi flagship is going to arrive in different colour variants: Green, Red, and Black, now adding Purple. Moreover, regarding the display, Redmi 9 specs offer 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution. On the other side, battery-wise, the Xiaomi device bears a massive 5000mAh juice box with 18W fast charging support.
Keep on the optics department, the Xiaomi Redmi 9 camera features quad lenses setup on the rear. It comprises in 13MP Main lens + 8MP Wide snapper + 5MP Macro shooter + 2MP Depth sensor. At the front-facing, there is a single 8MP sensor for taking selfies and video calls. Furthermore, this device also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for the processor, the Xiaomi phone equips with the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC.
