Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro renders unveiled
Shared by Xiaomi on its official Weibo page, the colourful renders reveal more about the design and show the handset from every possible angle. Unfortunately, they confirm the existence of the notch and the rather thick bezels, but at this price range, we can’t be too picky. Colour choices include gold, pink, blue, red, and black. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro renders also show off the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, vertically-aligned dual rear cameras, the Mi branding around back, and the display notch around front.
Unfortunately, it looks like Xiaomi sticks to Micro-USB for the Redmi 6 Pro instead of USB Type-C. It also looks like the phone sports two speaker grilles at the bottom. From what we learned so far, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro specs feature a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (2,280 x 1,080) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Optics-wise, it bears a dual 12MP + 5MP rear cameras alongside a 5MP selfie snapper up-front. Underhood, the phone takes power from a Snapdragon 625 chipset as well as a 4,000mAh battery pack.
Besides, the Redmi 6 Pro also supports Android 8.1 Oreo underneath MIUI 9. Regarding the storage, the device comes in two flavours: 3GB RAM + 32GB of ROM, and 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage. Both variants include AI functionality that might allow for AI-powered scene recognition and more.
