Xiaomi Redmi 5X might arrive this year!
Xiaomi plans to announce the upcoming device this year with the codename Cereus. Currently, this phone has been spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench. In details, the Geekbench scores are 745 points in single core and 3562 in multi-core. Besides, the new mysterious device seems to be the latest entry-level smartphone of the Chinese brand. On the other hand, according to our sources, this phone might be the Redmi 5X.
In addition, based on the Geekbench listing, the Redmi 5X might get power from the octa-core MT6765 Helio P40 chipset as the processor. On the other hand, the new Xiaomi handset sports 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card). Meanwhile, the Redmi 5X phone runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system. Besides, for the security, there is a fingerprint scanner.
How about the photography? The Xiaomi Redmi 5X camera system might feature the upgraded camera system of the Redmi 4X.
