A few months ago, the Chinese phone company launched its Redmi 10X series smartphone in its home market. This August, a new member of this lineup dubbed Redmi 10 appeared on a Singaporean retailer’s website, moving it a step closer to the official global launch. From what we learnt, the new Redmi 10 is a 4G-only smartphone and won’t support 5G networks.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi smartphone comes in 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage (expandable to 256GB). Regarding the display, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 specs feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Hardware-wise, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 smartphone gets power from the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset as the processor.
On the software front, the Xiaomi smartphone runs on the Android 11 out-of-the-box with the company’s MIUI 12.5 custom user interface on top. Under the hood, the powerhouse of the Xiaomi smartphone is a non-removable 5000mAh battery cell. It also comes equipped with 18W fast charging. Furthermore, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. Lastly, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 camera packs a quad-camera setup on the rear as for the camera department. It consists of a 50MP wide lens + 8MP ultrawide lens + 2MP macro sensor + 2MP depth camera. Whereas, on the front side, this smartphone carries a single 20MP lens.
