Xiaomi POCOPHONE trademarks certified
In the past few years, Xiaomi has sold its smartphones under two brand, namely Mi and Redmi. Furthermore, the company recently also launched a gaming-centric smartphone under its Black Shark sub-brand. The good news for Mi fans is that Xiaomi is planning to release a new mobile brand called POCOPHONE. As it concerns, the company has applied for an EU trademark for this brand by the end of May.
Thus, it looks like Xiaomi is planning to release the POCOPHONE branded smartphones in Europe. Furthermore, the first smartphone under the new brand has been certified by Taiwan’s NCC with model M1805E10A. According to the listing, the device is being manufactured by Xiaomi Communications Technology Co. LTD. While other specs are not precise, it will support FDD-LTE bands 3, 7, and 8, GPS and GLONASS according to NCC document.
However, Xiaomi POCOPHONE specs might come with a 5.8-inch AMOLED display with resolutions of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Furthermore, the Xiaomi phone provides smooth performance under the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. On the other hand, the Mi phone receives 4GB RAM and 128GB/256GB ROM, which is expandable to 256GB. Moreover, the handset works on Android Oreo 8.0 and a 4200mAh battery box. Whereas, Xiaomi POCOPHONE camera includes a dual 16MP rear sensor and a 13MP front-facing snapper.

We need to wait until the POCOPHONE gets certified on other listing reveals its availability and pricing. For the best result, it should arrive around September 2018.
