Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 arrives with LTE
As far as it concerns, the all-metal device has an 8” LCD panel with 16:10 aspect ratio and WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). Under the hood, the SoC has an octa-core CPU, clocked at 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 512 GPU. Furthermore, Xiaomi will offer the device with two memory configurations – either 3/32 GB or 4/64 GB. Besides, the onboard memory is expandable to 256GB.
As far as it concerns, there is a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 lens for all the savages that take pictures and videos with tablets. Furthermore, the system has an HDR mode and 1080p video recording. Unfortunately, there is no LED flash on board. Whereas, the selfie snapper might be 5 MP, alongside AI Face Unlock thanks to an MIUI-enhanced version of the stock Android.
Based on what we witnessed, the size of the Mi Pad 4 is pretty compact with 200.2 x 120.3 mm and is only 7.9 mm thin. Whereas, it weighs 342.5 grams and packs a 6,600 mAh battery with regular 10W charging through a USB-C port. Furthermore, there is also a nano-SIM port for the LTE version. Concerning connectivity, all Wi-Fi protocols are supported – 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Also, there is also Bluetooth 5.0 that comes along with all newer Snapdragon versions.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 release date and price
Whereas, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is already available for pre-order in China scheduled for June 29 in Black or Rose Gold. Furthermore, the 3/32 GB Wi-Fi variant is CNY1,099 (less than $170/€150). Besides, the more powerful 4/64 GB without LTE is CNY1,399 (around $215/€180). However, if you want a mobile network on it, it is CNY100 more, or about $230/€200. Stay tuned for more updates!
