On the other hand, Samsung’s flagship will be powered by a 2.4GHz Octa Core Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor. Both devices pack 4GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. But just the South Korean phone is expandable via a microSD card.
For the photography, Xiaomi’s device offers a 16MP primary cam combined with a 5MP selfie shooter, while Galaxy S8 Plus sports a 12MP dual rear camera and an 8MP front snapper. Moreover, it is coming with a non-removable 3500mAh battery runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, while Xiaomi Mi Mix features a powerful 4400mAh battery and is working on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

All in all, both phones are great. However, Xiaomi Mi Mix is definitely one step ahead in camera resolution and has a bigger battery than its competitor. But Samsung Galaxy S8 is has a better processor and scores in screen resolution. It depends on you and your preferences. If you are a photography lover, we recommend you to buy the Mi Mix, but if you watch a lot of videos and movies on your phone it’s better to wait for the upcoming Galaxy S8.
