Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G Model
Step aside 4G, because it’s time for 5G to rise! During the last few months, we have caught the news about the arrival of various 5G smartphones. Today, Xiaomi kicked off the race with the launched of their first 5G smartphone integrated with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 5G modem. The handset now carries the name Mi Mix 3 5G model, which indicated that it is the similar premium flagship which Xiaomi has launched before in China, but now with more high-end specs.
Firstly, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G model specs take power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and the 5G modem. Furthermore, the new handset also carries a bigger battery capacity of 3800mAh instead of the 3200mAh one on the standard Mi Mix 3. Meanwhile, other handset specs remain the same. Firstly, it packs a 6.39-inch OLED display stretching all the way to the edges with 1080 x 2280 pixels. In case you didn’t know, Xiaomi achieved this design with a slider mechanism.
This is a mechanical slider that’s manually raised and closed to reveal the front camera lens. Additionally, Xiaomi also added a dedicated Google Assistant button on the phone. For the storage, the device offers 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM (unexpandable). Whereas, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G model camera sports a dual 12MP + 12MP rear sensor and a pop-up dual 24MP + 2MP selfie lenses. Regarding the operating system, the device runs on Android 9.0 Pie version. Lastly, Xiaomi also announced partnerships with 5G networks— Orange, Sunrise, Three, Telephonica, Tim and Vodafone.

The most exciting detail about this upcoming phone is its price tag. Notably, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G model price is reportedly 599 euros (roughly Rs 48,251), making it the cheapest 5G smartphone announced so far in 2019.
