Xiaomi Mi Max phablet: 6.4-inch, 16MP cam, Android 6.0.1
Xiaomi Mi Max can be a start of a brand new sub-brand of Xiaomi. If so, we guess it will be a series of phablets since according to recent reports, Xiaomi Mi Max specs will include a big display. You can put it in your jean pocket with a little room left to spare. As for Xiaomi Mi Max hardware, there will be a 6.4-inch Full HD screen, a Snapdragon 650 hexa-core 1.8GHz chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM on board, according to GFXBench benchmark.
Apart from those basic features, it’s worth noting that the Max will also run on new MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. And in terms of camera, the main one will be capable of 16 megapixels and the selfie snapper is 5 megapixels. They absolutely can produce great shots for you. Though, the rest of the Max’s specifications are still unknown.
Anyway, the above details have not been confirmed by the company yet. So, let’s wait a bit more to see if the handset will appear on another benchmark (like TENAA) with further information. Xiaomi MIUI 8 and Mi Band 2
The firm has announced that “on May 10, we will introduce you MIUI 8, with the features you always wanted and new designs beyond your imagination. New design, with new experience.” Actually, they wanted to refer to the MIUI 8 notification bar which allows faster access to Wi-Fi, Torch, Bluetooth and more. About the smartwatch Mi Band 2, it will sport an LCD display and a physical button. We’ll update its price and other details in the next post.
