Xiaomi Mi Max 3 retail box unveiled
Surprisingly, the one that leaked the Mi Max 3 retail box picture is no other than the company’s CEO Lei Jun. The box appears big and simple, coming in a yellowish colour and an extra-large number “3”. Our guess is it’s probably hinting at the massive display size the phone will sport. Lei Jun also revealed that they discussed the content of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 conference. He then answered some of the questions on Weibo, including confirmation of the previous specs rumours.
Previously, the alleged Xiaomi phone appeared on TENAA listing with some fantastic specs info. We spot a total of three models: M1804E4T, M1804E4A, and M1804E4C. Regarding the hardware, they are going to run on an octa-core, 1.8GHz processor. Moreover, the three Mi Max 3 variants arrive with a 6.9-inch display of 2160×1080 pixel resolution. As for the storage, there are different RAM versions of 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB.
Meanwhile, the internal storage is 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. Optics-wise, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 camera is going to equip a dual camera system with 12MP main sensors. On top of that, there’s another 8MP selfie lens on the front. However, the M1804E4C model only has a 5MP secondary lens. In term of the operating system, the three Xiaomi models come running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo version. Besides, they also include a non-removable 5400mAh juice box underhood.
