That is when the company finally announces its next big screen smartphone Xiaomi Mi Max 2. It is one smartphone that people are anticipating a lot, after the success of its predecessor, Xiaomi Mi Max. So May 25 could be a special day for Xiaomi fans.

The event would introduce the long-awaited big screen smartphone Xiaomi Mi Max 2. For this launch, people expect that the new MIUI, Xiaomi’s interface, could also get a new version. It is the 9th gen of the MIUI. However, the Chinese company has recently denied that and said that the new MIUI would not launch with the Mi Max 2. The official launch date of the MIUI 9 would be August 16. For now, the focus is on the new Xiaomi big screen smartphone!

Now we look at what the company has revealed about Xiaomi Mi Max 2 specs. Under the hood, there is an SND processor, which can be either 625 or the new 660 version. There is also 4GB of RAM, plus 128GB of internal storage. There is also a massive 5000mAh battery to keep this phone alive for quite a while. As mentioned above, Mi Max 2 display is large, at 6.44″ with Full HD resolution. Not much is known about the camera, just that it would have a 12MP Sony IMX378 lens. The OS is expected to be an MIUI version based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
