Xiaomi Mi Band 3 launch date!
At the Shenzhen event, the Chinese brand plans to introduce some products, including the Xiaomi Mi 8, MIUI 10. Currently, based on the news of Wang Xiang, the Xiaomi’s senior vice-president, the company might debut the Mi Band 3, alongside the Mi8 flagship and MIUI 10 software. The upcoming Xiaomi band could be the upgraded variant of the predecessor Xiaomi Mi Band 2.
At the moment, there is no word about the details of the Mi Band 3. However, according to the leaked image, the Mi Band 3 might offer the touchscreen display. In addition, this device features the gesture-based controls. Moreover, these controls come with long-press and swiping up as well as down for performing several tasks on it. Besides that, we expect the Mi Band 3 to boast a 2.5D curved display.
On the other hand, the upcoming Xiaomi band doesn’t offer the physical button like the Mi Band 2. Also, the Mi Band 3 supports Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, IP67 certification of dust and water resistance. Next, let’s take a look at the predecessors. The Chinese manufacturer unveiled the original Mi Band in April 2015. Meanwhile, the Mi Band 2 hit the market in 2016, and the Mi Band HRX Edition was available in 2017.
