Xiaomi Mi A2 renders confirm stock Android and three coloured variants!

Only a few days left until the official launch, and some of the Xiaomi Mi A2 renders have surfaced online today. The phone ships with stock Android, 6GB RAM and a 5.9″ display. Keep reading for more details!

For starter, we already know that Xiaomi is prepping for the launch of a new smartphone in Spain on July 24. Recently, the company has confirmed again that it is going to launch two Android One smartphones at the event as well. While Xiaomi has not revealed the names of the devices, the two smartphones in question are the Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. Now, a frequent leaker has reconfirmed about the Xiaomi Mi A2 renders and hardware.

According to that source, the Mi A2 is actually the rebrand of Xiaomi Mi 6X, a smartphone that was launched in China earlier this year with MIUI. More importantly, the Mi A2 renders confirm the software on the smartphone by showing a stock Android 8.1 Oreo preview. They also suggest that the smartphone will be available in at least three colours variants of black, gold, and red.

About the rest of the Xiaomi Mi A2 specs, the handset includes a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Underhood, the phone takes power from the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor at the core. Besides, it offers 4GB RAM + 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. Moreover, Xiaomi Mi A2 camera comes with a dual 12MP + 20MP rear sensors. On the front side, reports indicate that it will feature a 20MP snapper. It is worth noting that this handset doesn’t have the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack and it bears a 3010mah battery pack.

Ahead of the official launch on 24th July, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has already been available for purchase online at $190 for 3GB RAM model and $210 for the 4GB RAM variant. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi A2 price starts at $218 ~ Rs. 15, 000 for the standard variant, and $305 ~ Rs. 21, 000 for the top-end version.
