Exciting news awaits at the upcoming Xiaomi event in Spain. Apparently, joining the central star Xiaomi Mi A2 is no other than its newborn brother Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. The phone ships with SnD 625, 4GB RAM and 4000mah batt. Check it out!
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite specs and design
Unlike the regular Mi A2 which sports an 18:9 aspect ratio display, it appears the company’s plans for the budget Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite specs to adopt a taller 19:9 ratio panel complete with a notch up top. It details, it features a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. In addition, while the overall rear panel is mostly similar thanks to the dual-camera setup and fingerprint scanner, some changes have been made to the antenna bands.
Moreover, in an effort to cut costs, the handset features a micro-USB port instead of the newer Type-C connector. On a bright side, the Mi A2 Lite includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, something the more expensive offering does not. Aside from the external modifications, the Mi A2 Lite also sports a slightly different spec sheet. Underhood, the Xiaomi phone takes power from the Snapdragon 625 chipset.
Regarding the storage, users still gain access to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On top of that, the Mi A2 Lite runs on Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box and bears a somewhat larger 4,000mAh battery. Photography-wise, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite camera equips a dual cam setup on the back of 12MP (f/2.2) + 5MP sensors and a 5MP selfie snapper up-front.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite release date and price
As mentioned above, the company will reveal the duo Xiaomi Mi A2 and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite on July 24. When it comes to pricing, the listing in question offers the Mi A2 Lite model for roughly $285, or €240.
