Xiaomi Mi A1 Oreo update faces problems: what happened?

In December 2017, Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi Mi A1 with Android One program. Furthermore, the Chinese brand also promised to bring the Oreo upgrade by the end of the year. However, the new update doesn’t seem promising. Within the first week, many Xiaomi users have complained about various problems in their handsets after upgrading. In the Mi Community forum, one of the company representatives has suggested uninstalling the MyJio app. On the contrary, if you want to keep using the apps, you would need to disable the “Telephone” permission. For now, Xiaomi has stopped the update from rolling out to search for the fix. According to Xiaomi India’s social media, the Mi A1 Oreo upgrade will resume “in the next couple of weeks. On the other hand, the new OS version brings with it many new standard Oreo features. It includes a lighter UI colour, the notification dots, Auto Fill in apps, Night Light mode, Picture-in-Picture mode, and others.
