In May 2018, Xiaomi has announced the launch of their latest Mi 8 series. In details, there are a total of three different variants of the Mi 8 line. First, we have the standard Xiaomi Mi 8 with decent specs and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Moreover, we also have the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a transparent back panel. Lastly, there is the watered-down Xiaomi Mi 8 SE with a fingerprint scanner on the back and a Snapdragon 710 chipset.

However, the surprise doesn’t end here. Today, we caught the news about the arrival of one more device under the Mi 8 series – Xiaomi Mi 8X. Notably, this new smartphone is reportedly a mixture of all three phones. Based on the surfaced image, this Xiaomi phone is going to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset as the processor. Moreover, the Xiaomi Mi 8X is also coming with an under-display fingerprint scanner. In term of the design, the new Mi 8X has the same form as the regular Mi 8 handset.

For Xiaomi Mi 8X specs, the Xiaomi phone comes with a 5.88-inch Super AMOLED display along with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio and sharp 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution. Moreover, the Xiaomi device can offer 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of ROM (no card slot). Additionally, the Xiaomi phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Moreover, Xiaomi Mi 8X camera system brings a dual 12MP + 5MP rear snapper along with a single 20MP selfie lens. Lastly, the Xiaomi device rocks a 3120mAh juice box.
