At its Shenzhen event, Xiaomi is expected to launch some new products, including the Mi 8 flagship, the Mi Band 3, MIUI 10 software. Now, according to our sources, the Mi 8 SE is one of the handsets to be launched at the Shenzhen event. The Mi 8 SE could be the special edition of Xiaomi. Besides that, in terms of the memory, the Mi 8 SE sports 6GB RAM with three ROM options: 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB. The storage cannot be expandable.
On the other hand, the Mi 8 might get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset instead of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip as the processor. Besides that, the Mi 8 SE camera system packs a dual camera setup with a dual 16MP lens. In addition, the rear sensor features Xiaomi’s AI technology. Meanwhile, the front-facing lens sports a single 20MP shooter for the selfies.
On the other hand, this phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, alongside the MIUI 10. Moreover, the Mi 8 SE battery equips a non-removable Li-Po 3300mAh juice box with fast charging support. Speaking of the display, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE specs pack a 6.2-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2280 pixels). Besides, this phone sports a tall 19:9 ratio.
