The Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a 5.15-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of  1080 x 1920 pixels, while OnePlus 5 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 2K resolution. We will probalbly see the two giants come in with bezel-less displays without curves. This must be a good news for whoever doesn’t like the edge phone.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 vs OnePlus 5 specs are very competitive in some aspects. Both phones will be powered by the latest Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 with a 6GB RAM. Xiaomi also offers other RAM versions of 4G and 8GB. The two handsets run Android Nougat with a Li-Po 3200mAh battery for Mi 6. OnePlus 5 will pack in a stronger battery of 4000mAh. Internal storage may vary from 32GB up to 256 GB.

As for photograpy, Xiaomi Mi 6 “will almost certainly feature a dual camera setup on the back in a body that’s most likely made out of metal, with a ceramic back cover variant for the more expensive special edition”. The OnePlus 5 camera could feature a 23MP main shooter and 12MP wide-angle one for taking selfies.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Mi 6 Plus “will almost certainly be launched next month, on April 14th to be precise”. The three versions of 4GB-4GB-6GB RAM with 32GB-64GB-128GB ROM will be tagged at $290-$333-$391 respectively. On the other hand, information about the OnePlus 5 launch date and price is still in silence. However, OnePlus 5 price is expected to stand at $400. What do you think about the two phones?
