First, let’s warm up by looking at some similarities between Mi 5s and Z2 Plus. Both handsets comes with a Quad-core CPU and dual SIM. In addition, regarding the internal memory, Xiaomi and Lenovo both provide users with two versions. However, each handsets has different RAM & ROM. In case of Mi 5s of Xiaomi, it is packed with either 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM or 3GB RAM with 64GB ROM. Meanwhile, going along with 4GB or 3GB RAM of the Z2 Plus are smaller built-in memory, 64GB and 32GB respectively.

Now, let’s consider the differences! First will be camera function. The Mi 5s features a combo of 12MP rear camera and 4MP front camera. Meanwhile, Z2 Plus boasts 13MP primary cam with 8MP secondary shooter. It’s obvious that the smartphone from Lenovo does a better job at selfie than that from Xiaomi. Under the hood, battery of Mi 5s is 3200 mAh whereas the juice pack of Z2 Plus is a little more – 3500 mAh. Although both handsets is powered by premium Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, the Mi 5s runs 821 version. On the other hand, Z2 Plus is driven by 820 version.

So what about other Xiaomi Mi 5s and Lenovo Z2 Plus specs? Xiaomi Mi 5s offers a 5.5 inch Full HD display 5 inch while Z2 Plus sports a 5.0 inch display with HD resolution. Lenovo Z2 Plus loses out to Xiaomi Mi 5s in terms of display.

While Lenovo has just launched the Lenovo Z2 Plus in late September, Xiaomi Mi 5s is still waiting for announcement soon. It is also reported that the Xiaomi Mi 5s will be available at about $360 while the Lenovo Z2 Plus costs you around $300 for 4GB RAM version.
