According to our sources, Xiaomi-backed Black Shark has finally launched its first-ever Black Shark Smartphone in China. Whereas, there is no word on the smartphone’s global availability as of now. In our opinion, the smartphone will remain a China-exclusive handset. Moreover, the Black Shark smartphone has top of the line specifications and with the very unusual design. In details, the device gets a rugged look and iconic black and green colour combination.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that the colour scheme is very reminiscent of Razer products, Razer Phone. Besides, there is a button on the left “Shark Key” that enables “immersive gaming experience.” Furthermore, the company has also implemented a liquid cooling system that can reduce the CPU core temperature by up to eight degrees. Also, the company claims that it can deliver up to 30 hours of gaming on a single charge.
Regarding Xiaomi BlackShark specs, the device sports a 5.99” 18:9 IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 97% DCI-P3 coverage. Besides, the gaming smartphone expects to come with the latest Snapdragon 845 and a massive 4,000 mAh battery. Also, the hardware offers the usual Kryo 385 cores and Adreno 630 GPU. Moreover, the memory would be available in 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM (unexpandable). Whereas, the phone has Android Oreo, topped with JOY UI. Besides, Xiaomi BlackShark camera includes a dual rear camera 12 MP f/1.75 + 20 MP f/1.75 with 6P lens and a dual-LED flash. Meanwhile, the selfie camera has an identical 20MP sensor but the slower f/2.2 lens.

At the moment, the phone is available for pre-order on JD.com until April 20. After then, it will be available for purchase in either Polar Night Black or Sky Gray. Whereas, Xiaomi BlackShark price depends on the roomier memory variant it offers. In details, the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model costs $557 ~ Rs. 36429. Meanwhile, the 6GB/64GB version is $477 ~ Rs. 31196, making it the cheapest Snapdragon 845 phone up to date.
