In 2018, the Chinese manufacturer launched its first gaming smartphone, dubbed Xiaomi Black Shark. Today, the Chinese brand finally announced its next gaming phone which is the successor of the Black Shark. In details, the Black Shark 2 comes with more powerful specs and features. First of all, let’s talk about the screen. As for the display, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 specs offer a 6.39-inch AMOLED made by Samsung.
Furthermore, the brand has added a pressure-sensitive system that enables you to map the buttons to the left and right side of the screen that can be triggered by pressing harder on the screen. Powering the Black Shark 2 is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Additionally, Black Shark 2 comes in different variants of 6GB RAM/ 128GB ROM or 12GB RAM/ 256GB of onboard storage.

On the other hand, imaging-wise, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 camera features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 48MP Quad Bayer sensor (f/1.75) + 12MP sensor 2x telephoto. On the front, there is a single 20MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. Moreover, there is also a Vapor cooling system similar to what the Razer Phone 2 uses. The Black Shark 2 gaming phone is available in March in Black and Silver Colors. Regarding the cost, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 price should begin at CNY 3, 200 ~ $480 for the base 128GB variant, or CNY 4, 200 ~ $625 for the model with 256GB ROM.
