Wiko is the French smartphone company which produces beautiful-looking mid-end devices. The Wiko Highway Star 4G is the latest flagship launched to Asian market, Vietnam to be exact. Take a look at this really nice guy.

Wiko – new European brand in Asian market

Although targeted at the mid-end Android smartphones, this Highway Star 4G is carefully designed with beautiful alloy body, super slim and a good-enough pack of specs. As the name already suggests, the device is supported with 4G mobile connectivity.

Wiko Highway Star 4G features a handy 5” display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The AMOLED screen sports colorful resolutions with above average screen sharpness.

Wiko Highway Star 4G: premium design for mid-end device

One of the most noticeable features of the device is Wiko Highway 4G design. The cold, grainy aluminium body of the phone conveys a sense of quality found on devices like iPhone 6 that typically cost twice as much.

Being as slim as 6.6mm and only weigh 123g, the phone has received positive feed backs about its appearance. Compared to other phones in the same category, this guy holds really good design and feels absolutely premium on your hand.

In terms of Wiko Highway Star 4G cameras: the flagship packs 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. These camera resolutions are considered good but normal compared to camera smartphones these days.

Also, we noticed that, the Highway Star 4G main camera is a bit protrusive on the back and is protected only through a thin layer of plastic. This would be easy to get scratched and users need to be more careful with the lens of this Highway Star 4G.

The Wiko Highway Star 4G price in Vietnam is currently VND 5,999,000. This means, if the device ever comes to our country, the Wiko Highway Star price in PH will be around PHP 12,5K, which is a bit higher than our sub PHP 10K smartphone market.

It is not really cheap but quite reasonable price tag for such a phone, do you think so?
