On the other hand, a report from Wired has confirmed about this security loophole with a representative from Whatsapp. However, they have denied the claim that the attackers can cache, block or prevent the alert stating new members added. For Whatsapp, they are confident in their security and privacy levels. Besides, they also reported that they don’t collect their users’ information.
