“Over the last couple years, people have enjoyed making voice and video calls on WhatsApp. In fact, our users spend over 2 billion minutes on calls per day. We’re excited to announce that group calls for voice and video are coming to WhatsApp starting today”, said WhatsApp. Besides, WhatsApp also takes the number of Facebook apps that support group video calling, after the new feature was announced on Instagram recently.
How to use WhatsApp group audio, video call? Firstly, users start a one-to-one video call with one of the contacts. Next, an “add participant” icon at the top-right corner of the screen might appear once call gets connected. After that, if the third user accepts the call, both the names can be shown. Users can be able to add up to three participants for a total of four people in a group video.
