Watch Dogs 2 has been in development for some time now. Recently, Ubisoft, the game’s publisher, has tweeted that the game has officially gone ‘gold’. It means that all developments for the game has finished. This is not really surprising, considering that the intended release date for Watch Dogs 2 is coming very soon, on November 15.
However, while Ubisoft has finished with the development, the company still has not moved on to another project yet. It could be that it is preparing for anything bad happening in the first day of launch. A first day patch is expected by many people. Also, it has been speculated that DLCs for the game are in the work, including those focusing on the Zodiac Killer. In a previous statements, Ubisoft has stated that all DLCs will arrive first on PS4.

Watch Dogs 2 has joined the list of games going gold recently. This list includes so games that have been in development for a long time, such as The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy XV. The second installment of Watch Dogs is going to be released on both PS4 and Xbox One, on November 15. The PC version has been delayed by a couple of weeks, and will hit the market on November 29.
