Good news for all the Vivo fans! A new mid-range handset from this Chinese brand has made its official debut today! Dubbed as Vivo Y93, this handset is reportedly the first smartphone to equip the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, which was built on the 12 nm FinFET process. On the other hand, this Vivo phone also carries a massive battery, large display with a waterdrop notch and dual cameras.
In details, Vivo Y93 now packs a 6.2-inch LCD with HD+ resolution (720 x 1520 pixels). Moreover, the device screen also has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and measures at 155.1 x 75.1 x 8.3 mm! Regarding the storage, the new Vivo smartphone now offers decent 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Additionally, it also equips a microSD card which can expand to 256 GB. Besides, the device also runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system.
How about the photography setup? Firstly, Vivo Y93 camera features a dual 13 MP, f/2.2, PDAF + 2 MP, f/2.4, depth sensors on the rear. Meanwhile, it also packs another 8 MP, f/2.0 lens up front. Surprisingly, the Vivo device arrives with Face Unlock feature which you will need if you want to protect the device since it lacks a fingerprint scanner. Besides, the Vivo Y93 also comes with the voice assistant Jovi. It is part of the FunTouch OS, based on Android Oreo 8.1. The Vivo phone battery has 4,030 mAh capacity but comes with a micro USB port. Lastly, the connectivity includes dual SIM slot, Bluetooth 5, and Wi-Fi ac at 364 Mbps. The chipset limits the LTE speeds to 150/75 Mbps.
