Today, Vivo launched its mid-range Y83 smartphone in China with rather exciting hardware on board. According to the earlier TENAA leak, some of the specs include a 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. In details, the Vivo Y83 appears to be the first smartphone to feature the mid-tier chip with octa cores. Also, the Vivo phone hardware paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
In general, it is good to know that the processor comes with AI support. On the other hand, the mid-range handset adopts the notch on the front panel as well. Meanwhile, bezels do appear to be slimmer than a mid-range should be, which is nice. Furthermore, the camera system comes with some AI Beauty features. As far as it concerns, the device is 7.7mm thick and comes with Black, Aurora White, and Red color options.
Regarding Vivo Y83 specs, the device sports a large 6.22-inch IPS LCD with an unusual 720 x 1520 pixels and a tall 19:9 ratio.
