Vivo Y79 now officially released: 5.99” display, 24MP camera
According to our sources, Vivo Y79 is a rebranded variant of Vivo V7 Plus which is successfully launched earlier this year in India. Most of Vivo Y79 specs are the same as Vivo V7 Plus specs regardless of the processor. While V7 Plus comes with Snapdragon 450, Y79 phone sports the later version chipset Snapdragon 625.
Users easily find Y79 with a metal unibody design, a display of 5.99-inch FullView and HD+ screen resolutions (1440 x 720). Y79 handset includes the excellent aspect ratio of 18:9 along with an 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, Y79 is fueled by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 along with Adreno 506 GPU for graphics and clocked at 2.0GHz. This Vivo phone features 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM expandable up to 256GB via SD card.
Vivo is famous for selfie smartphones and this time; users find a 24MP moonlight selfie snapper (with an aperture of f/2.0, face beauty 7.0, video calling-face beauty mode, group selfies and portrait mode) on the front of Y79. On the back of the device, we have a 12MP primary camera (with PDAF quick focus, aperture f/2.0 and LED flash). The battery capacity of Y79 phone is up to 3225mAh.

Vivo fans can expect Vivo Y79 release date on November 11 in China, while others out of this region can have early reservations available from now on JingDong Mall (JD.com), Tmall and Vivo’s online store.
