The hightlights of Vivo Y55L lie in the split-screen feature, eye protection mode and screen flash function. The split-screen feature is actually the Smart Split 2.0. Its application is multitasking. For example, if a text arrives while you are watching a video, just click once. And the display will split into a half. Therefore, you can reply the text on one half and the video is still playing on the other. For the eye protection mode, it prevents eye strain and blue light for users. In case of screen flash function, it works automatically on dark condition that helps you in taking selfie.
Design-wise, the unibody design with the 2.5D glass at front renders premium feeling. It exhibits two colors – Gold and Space Grey. This handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS that is cloaked with the Funtouch OS 2.6. In addition, Vivo equips Y55L with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and a Octa-core 1.4GHz processor. In terms of memory and storage, the device comes with a 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card).
For camera function, we can find a combo of front and rear cameras. At the back houses a 8MP snapper while at the front mounts a 5MP shooter. Under the hood, Vivo Y55L utilizes its power from 2650 juice pack. The mobile also manifests a 5.2-inch HD display with the resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Other features include 4G SIM and triple card slots.
