A new entry-level smartphone is coming to India. The Vivo Y53 is the Chinese company’s latest budget mobile device with decent specs. Let’s have a look at it.

India is one of the biggest markets to the Chinese phone maker Vivo. Many products of the company are very successful and popular in this market. To continue the successes, the company decided to bring a new entry-level budget phone to India: the Vivo Y53. Desing-wise, the device sports a unibody metal design and looks similar to the Vivo Y55L.
Vivo Y53 specs deliver a 5-inch display that has the resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a pixel density of 220ppi. Under the hood, you can find a 64-bit Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, paired with Adreno 308 GPU. Since it is a budget phone, it offers only 2Gb of RAM with 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The budget handset runs on Funtouch OS on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In terms of photography, the popular company added a 8MP rear camera with f/2.0, Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus combined with an 5MP shooter for selfies on the front. In addition, the mobile phone features a decent 2500mAh battery, enough for daily usage. Other specs include 4G/LTE compatibility with dual SIM support, along with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB OTG, FM Radio, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
