Vivo X20 Plus UD: the first-ever phone with under screen scanner!

Previously, we have received many reports about an upcoming handset with under screen fingerprints scanner. Many fans were betting on the most awaited Samsung handsets – Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus or even Apple. However, it looks like Vivo beats these two brand in this battle! This January, Vivo is going to present their latest handset (probably the Vivo X20 Plus UD) with a brand new under screen fingerprints scanner!

Today, Vivo has released a teaser including a smartphone image with the tagline “Unlock the Future”. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X20 Plus UD specs. In term of the display, this Vivo smartphone comes with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Moreover, this Vivo phone screen also has the resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 ratio. Under the hood, Vivo X20 Plus UD takes power from a Qualcomm MSM8956 Plus Snapdragon 660 chipset.

Regarding the storage, Vivo X20 Plus UD offers 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is also expandable storage of 256GB via micrSD. On the other hand, the Vivo phone works on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, planned to upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo. How about the photography setup? Vivo X20 Plus UD camera system features dual 12MP (f/1.8) + 5MP shooter on the back with autofocus and LED flash. Moreover, this Vivo phone also has a 12MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper on the front. Additionally, the X20 Plus smartphone rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 3900mAh capacity.
