Based on the latest updates, Synaptics and Vivo have corporated and announced in CES 2018 with the first under-screen fingerprint sensor. In details, this feature first debuts in Vivo’s next flagship launching in the next few months. Moreover, the Clear ID fingerprint sensor sits where most home buttons place normally. During the demo, the sensor works well and unlocks the device within 0.7 seconds.
Speaking of the device, the display includes smaller bezels and 18:9 ratio due to the fact that there is no need for home buttons. Moreover, this Vivo upcoming flagship features always-on display because it does show you where to put your finger on to unlock. Meanwhile, you can remove the feature in settings, but the always-on display keeps the process faster. Besides, the handset comes up with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset to support the sensor.
Furthermore, the handset sports dual 24MP rear cameras with an aperture of f/1.7. On the other hand, Vivo flagship owns a 28MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.8. Moreover, both cameras supports LED Flash and other professional shooting modes. Besides, there exists the in-display navigation bar and 3.5mm headphone jack.
