Unlike flagships, mid-range smartphones can’t fight on performances. Instead, they rely on high battery life, and appealing price tag. The same applies for the newly launched phone, the Vernee Thor E, which has some crazy specs!
Vernee Thor E has crazy specs: 5020mAh, 128GB…
Vernee Thor E is a mid-range smartphone which has just been launched. Vernee really goes the standard way for this phone: modest specs, huge battery life, with software optimizations to extend its usage time even further. Thor E has an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz. That is not so powerful, but it is energy efficient. Going along is 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 128GB. The main highlight of Vernee Thor E specs is its huge battery, with 5020mAh capacity.
However, its battery capacity alone, even it is huge, is not the only factor to keep the phone running in a long period. The phone’s software has a built-in Ultra Power Saving mode. When activated, the display will be limited to grayscale only, and most of the background functions will be terminated. There is also a dedicated button on the side for turning on/off this mode too. Besides, the phone also supports quick charge technology, and you can get up to 30 days of stand by after a full charge!
Outside, Vernee Thor E sports a 5.0″ screen, with resolution of HD (720×1280). The low resolution is also to accommodate power efficiency. For the rest, there is a 13MP main camera at the rear, and a 5MP selfie cam at the front. The phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and it looks really close to a “stock” Android, not counting the power-saving mode. Overall, this is a very good mid-range smartphone.
