While Xiaomi fans are extremely happy when hearing that Xiaomi has just set a new record with selling over 2 million phone units in only 12 hours netting. We’re that you can’t forget the Xiaomi M5 which was said in a tons of rumors and leaked photos so far.

The recent leaks came from a AOKP’s official blog. In which, they said that the phone will be equipped with the MIUI 7 as well as the Android 5.1 version of MIUI. They also claimed that Xiaomi are partnering with Team Kang in order to create the new MIUI 7 in the alleged Xiaomi Mi5. The code name of MIUI 7 will be MiKangy.

From other previous reports, the Xiaomi Mi 5 rumor will expected to pack 5.5″ IPS LCD, a quad-core 2.7GHz Krai 450 process, a Snapdragon 805 chipset as well as a full 3GB of RAM pairing with an internal storage of 32GB. In addition to, the phone should be featured a 16MP main camera.

However, some other reports said that the phone is probabbly different to what we are expecting. The device possibly reports a less powerful Snapdragon 801 chipset and only 2GB of RAM.

The Xiaomi Mi5, as the so-called name, should be priced at a higher price than its predecessor – the Xiaomi Mi 4. Let having a small research, the Xiaomi Mi 4 is expectantly sold at 1,799 Yuan for 16GB version. The phone, therefore, is predicted to be set at a slightly higher price of 1999 Yuan.
