The upcoming Sony Xperia device: No headphone jack and anything else?

According to some sources, Sony has revealed the next phone in FCC documents. Following this information, the upcoming Sony Xperia is known as ID PY7-21831A. Furthermore, the Sony device might not have any 3.5mm headphone jack like the previous phones. As a result, Sony users have to use dongles to charge this device and use headphones with 3.5mm jack at the same time. Additionally, the Sony phone also offers a USB-C port which let you keep listening to music while you are charging.

Furthermore, the new Sony device features a large 5.7-inch with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). On the other hand, this phone has a tall 18:9 of aspect ratio display. Unfortunately, there are no details about the name of the device or other specs. However, this phone is expected to get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB).

Under the hood, the new Sony Xperia is going to feature a 21MP rear sensor and a 15MP front-facing snapper for taking selfies. In addition, this phone might pack a non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh battery and work on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo as the operating system.

There is no official about the release date of the upcoming Sony Xperia. However, we expect Sony to launch it in February 2018.
