Previously, we saw the success of Samsung’s A3, A5, and A7 devices. Now, Samsung is going to launch another sibling in the Samsung A series: Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus. This smartphone composes of ‘Infinity Display’ tech, which is similar to the display of Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Let’s have a closer look at the specs of this device. Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) specs come with a 6-inch Super AMOLED full HD+ screen and a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels (an 18.5:9 aspect ratio). Interestingly, this Samsung handset does not offer physical Bixby button.
When it comes to internal storage, Samsung A8+ smartphone sports a 6GB of RAM paired with 64GB ROM. Besides, there is also a 4GB RAM model. Both options support a microSD card slot that expands up to 256GB. Regarding processor, Samsung device takes power from 2.2GHz octa-core Exynos 7885. Besides that, Samsung Galaxy A8+(2018) battery packs a non-removable 3500 mAh juice box. Furthermore, there are also USB Type-C connector and an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance on the phone.
As for the photography and videography features, the Samsung Galaxy A8+ is the first Galaxy-smartphone to feature dual front-facing cameras. Moreover, there is a 16MP (f/1.9) + 8MP (f/1.9) dual front camera setup. On the back of this handset, Samsung phone owns a 16MP rear camera with a f/1.7 aperture and OIS.
