UMIDIGI Z2 PRO specs and design
To recap, UMIDIGI Z2 was released not too long ago, and now we have already had news about its successor UMIDIGI Z2 PRO. This device has almost the same specs as the original but with an upgraded camera setting and comes in a new Ceramic variant. The ceramic material here is not the typical one. Instead, it’s a new type of ceramic called microcrystal zirconium oxide ceramic. The creation process for such ceramic body is pretty complicated, but the result is absolutely worth it; because it’s way more durable and scratch resistant than glass.
It also brings superior signal penetrability, and the Z2 Pro also uses it for the world’s fastest 15W Qi wireless charging. The camera upgrade is also a pretty significant one. For instance, there’s a dual-lens module of the 16MP+8MP rear camera sensor, big 1.12μm pixels, and a large optical format 1/1.28”. That means the handset will do surprisingly well in low-light condition. Also, the front 16MP camera sensor comes from Sony (IMX371). So we can expect to get a really good flagship level of cameras. Regarding the display, UMIDIGI Z2 PRO specs sport a 6.2-inch OLED with FHD+ (2246×1080) resolution.
As for the processor, this UMIDIGI handset can run on the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. Regarding the storage, UMIDIGI Z2 PRO offers 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, which is expandable up to 256GB. Additionally, the UMIDIGI phone rocks a massive 7000mAh battery box. As for the security, the UMIDIGI flagship is going to feature the Synaptics’ Clear ID in-display fingerprint sensor.
