June is coming closer and besides many Chinese smartphones to be launched in the 6th month of the year, there are also many non Chinese handsets to be debuting as well. Check out what they are!
1. BlackBerry Hamburg
BlackBerry is coming back with their second and third Android smartphone, but first of all, we’ve just got some information related to one of them called BlackBerry Hamburg. Speaking specifically, not long ago, the device showed up on GFXBench with some detailed features such as a Snapdragon 615 processor, a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
As for camera, the main one will be capable of 12 megapixels and the secondary snapper is 8 megapixels. Besides, the whole machine will run on Android 6.0.1 OS out of the box as we expect. However, there’s no more word made for the rest of BlackBerry Hamburg specs. Hopefully we’ll see it or at least gain more info about its hardware and design in June.
2. Yu Yunicorn
Recently, Micromax’s sub-brand Yu Televentures has announced that their Yu Yunicorn launch will take place at an event on May 31, 2016. Spec-wise, it will run on Android OS and come with Micromax’s Around You service. Besides, it is also said that the new YU Yunicorn smartphone will be available online. Though, until now we have not seen a full sheet of Yu Yunicorn specs yet, so let’s wait a bit more!
3. Sony Xperia E5
Coming up next is Sony Xperia E5, which is predicted to be launched on June 5, 2016. It has showed up on GFXBench lately with a 4.6-inch screen, HD resolution, a MediaTek MT6735 chip set, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, and a 16MP rear + 5MP front-facing camera package which is still good for creating beautiful shots. It seems a mid-ranger and if Sony Xperia E5 price is reasonable, no doubt consumers can take this model into consideration besides iPhone SE.
4. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition
This is an awesome variant of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge thanks to the collaboration of Samsung and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have officially announced Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition as a limited edition like Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man edition last year. Looking closer, you’re gonna see a Batman’s iconic logo on the back of the handset. On the other hand, we guess its specifications are not changed at all once going on sale in early June in China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America, Russia, and so on.
5. Panasonic Eluga A2
Recently, Panasonic Eluga A2 has just been released in India, packing a handy 5.0-inch HD display, a quad-core 1.0GHz chip, 3GB of RAM paired with 16GB of internal memory. In addition to Panasonic Eluga A2 specs, there are a combo of 8MP primary + 5MP selfie shooter, 4G LTE connectivity, a big 4,000mAh battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS on board to help power the entire machine. Panasonic Eluga A2 price is $141 for those who want to purchase it.
6. Cat S60
Next, we have Cat S60, a cool rugged smartphone which will be available for pre-order in June despite being officially announced in February. Similar to other Cat products, the S60 can survive well after drops on concrete from up to 1.8 meters or in water up to 5 meters for 1 hour. Though, more specially, it brings something that no other’s got: an integrated thermal camera enabling users to “visualize heat that’s invisible to the naked eye”. Other Cat S60 specs are also pretty good: Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, a 4.7-inch HD screen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable ROM, and a 3,800mAh cell. Cat S60 price is mentioned to be $599 unlocked.
7. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active
Last but not least, it is another rugged phone but from Samsung named Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. Unlike the ordinary model, the Active will be thicker and heavier (9.9 mm and 185 g) but the main Samsung Galaxy S7 Active specs will be almost the same: a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, and a set of 12MP + 5MP cam. Nevertheless, its battery is much bigger than the S7 due to being capable of up to 4,000mAh. Awesome, huh?! As for Samsung Galaxy S7 Active release date, it is predicted to be June 10, 2016.
Those are 7 of the best non-Chinese smartphones you can wait for in June. They have many excellent features to give you great experience. So, what are your opinions about them? Share with us!
