Huawei Honor 8 was announced recently with its strong specs, and so many other makers also introduced their smartphones to the market, so let’s see which smartphones are Huawei Honor 8 rivals. 

1. Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra

Talking about Huawei Honor 8 rivals, we can not missed the Asus Zenfone 3 triplets, especially Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe. This Asus smartphone is well known as the first smartphone that sports the powerful Snapdragon 821 chipset. This chipset allows higher clock speed than Snapdragon 820. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is believed to mount a larger over 5.5-inch 2K display, bigger than Huawei Honor 8 with just 5.2-inch full HD display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specs include 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, over 4000 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 652 chipset. The Huawei Honor 8 rival has not been available yet. So hopefully, it will be released sooner in August, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 price may be $215 (RM 875).

3. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro

Different from the former Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro was launched for 1 year. Even though the phone has appeared in the market for a long time, it is still powerful enough to be Huawei Honor 8 rival. It comes with 6.0-inch 2K display and runs on Android Lollipop. A SND 801 chipset and 2.5 GHz Quad-core processor also belong to Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro specs. Other features include: 3GB RAM, 32 GB ROM without expansion, 16MP/5MP cameras, 4000 mAh battery. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro prices at $474 (RM 1923).

4. Gionee M6 Plus

The next Huawei Honor 8 rival houses a massive battery of 6020 mAh capacity, Gionee M6 Plus. One of the special Gionee M6 Plus specs is the security chipset inside it. With this chipset, M6 Plus is said to be one of the safest smartphones in the market. Such device has not been available yet. About the other Gionee M6 Plus specs, it may have a 6-inch FHD display, a SND 652 chipset, a 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, a combo of 8+13MP camera, and Android 6.0 OS. Gionee M6 Plus launch date is on 26th July with the price lands from $350 to $400 (RM 1421 to RM 1624).

5. Galaxy A9 Pro

Galaxy A9 Pro is a Samsung smartphone which hold the bar for the last Huawei Honor 8 rival. Galaxy A9 Pro 6.0-inch display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with super AMOLED capacity, which provides vivid performance. Galaxy A9 Pro houses Snapdragon 625 chipset, 4GB RAM and runs on Android Marshmallow. All Galaxy A9 Pro specs are fueled by 5000 mAh battery. It cameras range 16MP/8MP resolution and Galaxy A9 Pro price falls at $539 (RM 2189).
