Top flagship smartphones to launch February at MWC 2016

In February, we are going to have a major event of the smartphone industry – Mobile World Congress – MWC 2016 – where many producers will introduce their upcoming beasts to the world. Here are some of the best beasts to be looking for

1. Sony Xperia Z6

Sony Xperia Z6 is a long – rumored flagship smartphone by Sony. Recently, our sources are hinting that the Z6 will be having a release later in March. But Sony will surely introduce their latest phone at MWC 2016. Sony Xperia Z6 specs feature a very nice combination: a 4GB RAM, a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, waterproof ability and a beautiful 23MP camera. In case you don’t know yet, the 23MP camera on Sony Xperia Z5 won the best smartphone camera of 2015. Let’s see if this honor is repeated with the Xperia Z6 smartphone.

2. Samsung Galaxy S7

I bet Samsung Galaxy S7 is popular enough these days with flows of news and updates being spread over the net. From what we know thus far, Samsung will introduce their new bomb at MWC 2016, then the phone will be launched on March 11. Specs-wise, Samsung Galaxy S7 features 5.1 inch display with 2K Super AMOLED, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 chip set and a 12MP/5MP camera combo. If you are wondering why this phone gets a downgraded camera compared to the 16MP Galaxy S6 is having, the answer is that, Samsung will give it a BRITCELL technology to boost low-light image quality.

3. Xiaomi Mi5

MWC is one of the biggest technology events of all. Therefore, no company wants to stand outside the game. And its not different for Xiaomi flagships either. Xiaomi Mi5, said to have a debut on February 24, will also be shown-case earlier at MWC 2016. Xiaomi Mi5 specs we know for now are: 5.2 inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 16MP/8MP camera and a 3,600 mAH battery.

4. Lumia 650

According to report, Lumia 650 will be the first and … last Lumia smartphone Microsoft will be producing this year. For the company only sold 4.5 million units of Lumia phone in Q4 2015 (it was 10.5 million in Q4 2014), Microsoft is planning to shift their focus to Surface smartphones. Lumia 650 will be a mid-ranger with entry level specs for a budget price: 1GB of RAM, Snapdragon 210 chip, 8GB internal storage that can be expandable. The phone also has a 2000 mAH removable battery, 8MP and 5MP cameras

5. HTC One M10

Recently we spotted an alleged render of HTC One M10 flagship smartphones. It looks pretty much like the previous HTC One A9 but with more premium specs: 4GB RAM, 27MP camera sensor, 3500 mAH battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

As MWC 2016 is such a huge event, there will be more flagships and budget smartphones introduced at the event.
