Dual camera smartphones are becoming more popular in the mobile market now, especially after many flagships got launched with this interesting feature. Check out what we have so far and will be coming!
1 + 2. iPhone 7 + iPhone 7 Plus
Although this duo flagship smartphone of Apple has not been officially announced, there are already a lot of information about them. At the moment, iPhone 7 has been said to sport a dual camera system which will allow the handset to “capture more image data with two separate lenses.” More specifically, the cameras will have an optical zoom with a 2-3X magnification and OIS.
As for iPhone 7 Plus, it will be a bigger variant packing a 5.5-inch screen and perhaps the same snapper feature. Lately, a photo showing a wide, oval-shaped space for a dual shooter lens on the back has been spotted. It makes rumor more possible to come true now. What’s your opinion?
3. Huawei Honor V8
This is a model of Huawei called Honor V8. Actually, there are just a few days left before the official Huawei Honor V8 launch happening on May 10, 2016. Though, let’s check what we know about Huawei Honor V8 specs so far. Accordingly, it will be equipped with a dual cam setup consisting of two 12MP sensors with f/2.2, Leica optics, PDAF, plus dual LED flash. Besides, a Kirin 950 chipset, 4GB RAM, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an 8MP selfie snapper, and a 3,000mAh cell will get on board as well. Huawei Honor V8 price can be around 2,000 Yuan (or $308), yet let’s wait for the firm’s announcement.
4 + 5. Huawei P9 + P9 Plus
Spec-wise, Huawei P9’s got a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, a 3,000mAh battery, a Kirin 955 octa-core processor, an 8MP secondary shooter, 3/4GB RAM, and 32/64GB ROM. They are excellent specifications, but its main selling point is the dual rear camera setup co-developed with German optics specialist Leica. Two 12MP sensors are built in with one for “capturing color” and the other for “seeing only black and white”.
In terms of Huawei P9 Plus specs, there are some major differences compared to the P9 you need to note. Its screen size measures 5.5 inches with an AMOLED panel, Full HD resolution, and Press Touch (like 3D Touch tech). Additionally, the machine has just one option for the ROM and RAM capacity: 4GB + 64GB and the cell is also larger with 3,400mAh to be specific, supporting dual-IC Rapid Charge (6 hours of talk time after a 10-minute charge).
6 + 7. LG G5 + G5 SE
Finally, we have LG G5 and LG G5 SE. LG G5 specs offer a 5.3-inch 2K screen with always-on mode, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 200GB). Besides, a decent 2,800mAh cell supporting Quick Charge 3.0 tech, LG Optimus UX 5.0 UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, an 8MP front shooter, and a dual rear cam setup consisting of 16MP + 8MP sensor are also on board to help run the whole device. About LG G5 SE specs, there are not many differences, except for the RAM and processor. The G5 SE is run by 3GB RAM and a Snapdragon 652 SoC, less strong than its sibling, but of course more affordable.
